This week must be one of the worst ones I've ever had. In one week- I got in a car accident (someone rear ended us going 40 mph) Nothing major i just hit my head on the wall where the seatbelt thingy is, SOmeone stole my $300 phone, My headphones were then stolen the next day. We then found out who stole my phone because of Sprint Family locator but he denied it so the police and principal let him off the hook, I AM SO PISSED!!!! I fell down the stairs backwerds, i then almost got hit by a car. and then today at lunch my friend spilt their powerade and it went accross the table and spilled allover me and my brand new sperrys. Then like 15 minutes ago i was cleaning my room, i elbowed a cup of water on my nightstand while making me bed and the water spilt on my ihome, new ipod touch, and new phone i just got yesturday. Am i just being dramatic or could all of these little things just added up on me? Like is this normal to be so mad over these things in one week? How can I get rid of it. I usually go on a run and it goes away but its not working. It just keeps rebulding.

I have a HUGE sweating problem. I prefer cats over dogs, because they're more self-sufficient and independent. Dogs are exhausting, in my opinion. A lot of times, I don't feel like playing around and pampering, and I think dogs are too needy and clingy. Plus, even if a cat feels like playing, and I don't, they're much smaller and cuter when watching them. To be completely honest, I find dogs very annoying, even when playing. And they cause more damage in the house than cats do. Also, cats feel so soft and fragile. They really do calm me down a lot. And their purr is so relaxing, that a lot of times I fall asleep just listening to them. Cats are awesome animals. And I really appreciate a man who likes and appreciates cats. In my biology cl, we've just reached the section on evolution. However, to my dismay, my teacher announced that we would only be spending about one week learning about Darwin and his theories on evolution. Also, not only is my cl only learning evolution for one week, but other bio teachers in my school teach it for a month or more. When questioned, my teacher said that evolution "raises to much argument." As for myself, I think she should teach regardless of supposed controversy. How do you replace a window pane in a dual pane window?

Forgive me, I'm not very window savvy, I'm not sure if our window is double hung or what, it is a vinyl window, bottom part of the window slides up, the top is stationary. The part of the window that slides up has two panes of gl, only one is broken. Is there a way to replace just the one piece of gl instead of spending the money to replace the whole window? What kind of shirts to wear for a skinny guy?

I'm 5'10 to 5'11ish, and around 130 pounds. I only have 5 shirts that I wear, they are t-shirts, the same exact brand and model just different colors. They are slim-fit and small size and fit me perfectly. But a friend recently commented that I always wear the same thing, but she meant shirts. I don't like shirts with the brand name on them in big letters or anything that makes me feel like a tool/walking billboard, and I don't like to wear flannel shirts because I'm skinny so I don't feel that they look good on me. Long-sleeved are fine, pretty much anything is fine if it will look good on my build, and you think it would be a good looking shirt to see a guy in. I would not exactly call it a problem but on the verge of becoming one. I would say this would be the time to get him help as it will only get worse. My step dad was a weekend drunk and a mean one, later on as i became married i learned the one Girl he loved when younger more than life refused to marry him because of his drinking. My Mother was tolerate of his behaviour and i believe loved him as he had loved the girl he lost. Explaining why she tolerated his drinking binges. As I suffer from a chronic illness I can understand her being irritable and snappy because the frustration of not being able to do anything is enormous not to mention living with pain. I do keep a lid on it though and maybe your Mum needs to do this. I suspect she is severely depressed and maybe, if she is willing, she should see the doctor who might be able to help her. I don't have that problem, maybe you need to go to a different salon. Or treat them with respect (not that you aren't) but I know a lot of Vietnamese people who do nails, and a lot of the women in there are very rude, and so they do a crap job on there nails.. How To Make Your Bangs Have Volume?

I have long bangs and all they do is fall flat. They have NO volume whatsoever.I usually always swoop them to the side and I want them to have have a more 'volumized' look. I really don't want to have to go out and buy any hair products. There is a way to make your bangs have volume by just using a blow dryer with a paddle brush after you get out of the shower, but I don't know if it would work with long bangs. I think it might only work with short bangs. But if that technique actually works with long bangs, let me know! My ex filed a paternity and support movement with the courts. I was in the process of doing a paternity, support, and custody movement. Since she already petitioned me for support and paternity how can I petition her for custody? It seems that the paperwork says I can only file for custody if there is an order already saying I am the father. I am worried she is going to try and leave state before the order comes into place. Jeez, I wish she was an indoor cat. Its hard to train a cat to stay away from the road when it was something she has never dealt with before. Would you consider walking her on a harness? You can get cat harnesses at any pet store and attach a leash to it. Depending on her temperament and your patience you might be able to train her to walk on a leash. I used to live on a main street and would walk my Allie Kat on a leash. She took to it pretty fast and was seemed to love it. When I would come home from work she would bring me her leash so she could go bye-bye. You should have seen the looks we got. My Husband "abandoned" myself & my Toddler for 7 days last week. He took my car to play Poker, said he would be back the next night and then turned his phone off for the remaining 5 days. He knew I had no money, transportation or necessities. I even ran out of diapers. He came home this morning then left again a few hours later to drive all the way back to Commerce Casino in LA from where we live in San Diego, CA. His reason he has to leave us and leave us with nothing to play Poker is because he cannot pay the bills. (I know, I know... He has a gambling problem - more severe than I ever imagined - and he REALLY thinks it is his only hope for financial recovery) I am finally ready to divorce him and have mailed in my dissolution papers. Once I receive them back I am going to follow through. I'm not sure how - it's going to be so hard but I know I have to. In the meantime, I would really appreciate any advice on what I should do regarding his abandonment. Should I be reporting this to the police or the court? I REALLY don't want to cause more strife between us (I don't know this man anymore and I know it's in my best interest to play it cool and not complain or threaten his gambling), however I DO want to be sure I do everything to my advantage to ensure I rightfully get the Custody priviledges and financial support I deserve. I don't know what to do cause I'm embaressed. I am actually really mature but my mom is all "well what would you do if there was an intruder in the house!?" Chances are, an intruder won't come, but it is true that you never know. Once, my cousin rang the doorbell at like 10 pm and my friend's mom and the cops came (we didn't know it was him, he kept ringing the doorbell) and we ran upstairs to my room and tried to see what this person looked like. We did the responsible thing, he wasn't an intruder but still it's something. I don't know what to do, my mom tries to make me feel guilty about it she's all "I'm stressed out enough, don't do this to me!" & makes me feel terrible but I can cook and take care of my brother and if there was an intruder, we'd do our best to get out of the house asap. Do I neuter a sick cat?

I have an almost 8 mth old kitten. A few mths ago his liver counts were off the charts and ultrasounds found a congential defect where an abnormal membrane is growing on his small intestine-blocking his bile duct. Eventually the vet tells me he will not be able to keep food down & he will waste away. Thankfully I have not seen evidence of this yet (although he has chronic giardia and roundworms). Due to the liver counts (and a "non-threatening" heart murmur to boot) the vet said that it is not safe to neuter him. However, the cat is now consistently gaining weight, is no longer jaundice, and is a happy, loving boy. I am thinking about retesting his liver counts again to see if they are down and if it is worth neutering him as I live in fear of spraying (do ALL male cats not neutered do that?). I lost a cat unexpectedly at a vet once so am scared. Do I leave things as they are as my kittie is doing well for the moment or do I take the risk and neuter him (I have 2 other boy cats!)

2 year old Yorkie possible liver shunt?? Help Please if you have experience with this!?

She's just started having spells where she's wobbly, throws up and has an involuntary bm. Lasts just a couple minutes. Vet said this was a seizure, did a liver profile and said it's possible it's a liver shunt from the numbers shown. The BA was 32 and then 103 after giving her what I believe he said was a karo type syrup? He said the only way now to tell if this is the problem is to do surgery to diagnose it. She's a healthy dog, has never had any problems. We did switch about 4 months ago to Beneful Dog Food. She was always before on a fairly expensive organic brand. I am now wondering if perhaps it's the food? Does anyone have experience with Yorkies and dog food making the difference? I don't know whether to do the surgery or not.

I need to ask... my chameleon is probably about the size of a little finger. The breeder told me he was about 2-3 months old. He is a male. I was told that their main food is crickets. What is going between me and this boy?

So since last Friday, my best friend, and our mutual friend have been hanging out (late nights, chilling etc). I've always found him attractive, but never wanted to get to far into it, for the fear of getting hurt. But ever since the Friday me and him have been practically inseparable. According to my friend of all the three years that she's known him he's never acted like this. To another friend, he talks about me a lot. He goes out of his way to lend me CD's, hold open doors, and just do stuff for me. Yesterday, we went practically everywhere, in a group of four, and basically we just went off ourselves. Later on we were sitting across from each other, I was looking at his face, and then we just locked eyes for what seemed like forever. Then even later that night, we watched some scary movie, and while the other too friends of our were screaming and whining. We sat next to each other under a blanket, and we would just turn our heads and look at each other and smile. He would touch my face, my mouth, play with my wrists, and hands. I want to say he likes me, but people are always saying he's gay. And when it was brought up around me, and said no and held my hand. Vivitar lens from Nikkormat?

I'm looking at a Vivitar 75-300 zoom lens on Ebay. It was used on a Nikkormat camera, what year I have no idea. I have a Nikon D40 and while I know the zoom won't auto focus or set the aperture, that's no biggie because I did all that stuff by hand for 35 years before I got the D40. Knowing the old Nikon F lenses can't be used on my camera, I'm concerned whether or not the lens mount is the same between the Nikon and Nikkormat. Supposedly the Vivitar lens is AI. If it helps any, the serial number indicates it's an older Kino made lens. Thanks.

Is it possible to be wiser when you were younger than you are now?

I often feel like I wasnt me when I was younger. All the memories of my self are strange. It seems like when I was younger I knew more and was connected in a sense to perhaps a "spiritual world" better. I don't remember a lot, but I remember I was very quite. I never spoke much, only when asked. However, on the other hand, I would always greet people on the streets when we walked around Europe (was only a toddler), but the rest of the time I was quite. I developed a sense of sympathy/empathy at an early age. I dont remember this, but I watched a video of us when we were younger. My younger sister started crying and I was only a year older, but I quickly grabbed her and hugged her to make her feel better and I held her until she felt better. I was only 4. I noticed that I seemed to have a very motherly nature to me since I was a kid. One of the most imp things: I used to have small episodes (i was like 3-4) when I felt shocked that I "was on earth" and shocked that I was in a body and alive. It felt like I wasnt me, like I was something else, in a body that gave me my physical identity of "me" really hard to explain, I had these once in a while and they lasted a few seconds. I was literally in a state of shock for a few seconds. Thats why I feel like this was something spiritual? However, the older I grew the farther I got away from all this. I stopped being motherly, Its hard for me to be sympathetic. I feel like a completely different person, and it doesnt make sense because I developed in a very healthy lifestyle and family, and never went through anythin tramatic really.

I never took the SAT in March but I believe that the SAT test can't be any harder or easier at certain times of the year or in other years. There are different questions but they are basically the same level of difficulty. There are going to be 3 sections, critical reading, math, and writing just like any other time. However, some people in the room might have like 4 math sections and 3 reading or vice versa but the extra math or reading is not counted in the score. Just study and keep taking practice tests to help you. It sounded like your first test was actually a good start. In fact a 2100 is higher than my highest score on that test.

HORRIBLE salon highlight job HELP?

starting last spring: I had dirty blonde hair, then bleached some highlights in. Bleached more highlights when the roots came in. Didn't know how to go about maintaining all the highlights, so tried a demipermanent red. Liked it, but it faded fast. Used a medium brown demipermanent twice more. Decided to go back to blonde, tried to fade out the demipermanent, but it seemed stuck in. Went to a salon yesterday! Was told my hair was fine and delicate and shouldn't be bleached all at once. So the **** put about 50 blond foils in my hair, and left them in for TWO HOURS for the bottom and an hour for the top hair due to negligence and stupidity on her part. She washed out the foils, freaked, started RIPPING handfuls of hair out with a brush, revealed my hair to be a horrid mix of white/bright yellow/ and my faded brownish red. It CANNOT stay this way. I'm faking sick til the weekend! I'm deep conditioning it, not washing it, and wondering what to do. Can I just put in a demipermanent color?

Head gasket dilema! will it be a hard job?

Almost as bad as Found On Road Dead or Fix Or Repair Daily. Both long time acronyms for FORD used by old time Chevy guys. The biggest problem changing the head gasket is making sure the head isn't warped. You can always have an automotive machine shop check it for you after you remove it. You will need a torque wrench and a shop manual ( to get the torque specs from). Don't know about the UK but here the wrench can usually be rented. Other than that changing the head gasket isn't a very difficult job. Just make sure you drain the coolant first so it doesn't come pouring out into the cylinder bores when you remove the head bolts. If you ultimate goal is personal and small work video editing and light gaming then yes this should work out alright. If you trying to do some serious gaming or some high end or semi-professional video editing you need to rethink the whole setup there. Especially if your going to be running windows vista with this here is what you should be thinking about: Motherboard: AMD=good choice but go higher in front side bus speed. Along with that the processor was pretty good maybe a little faster but not bad at all. Your memory you should think about would be at least 4GB depending on the OS and the motherboard you pick out. The video card is pretty good but i advise you get something with a little higher core speed. Now like i said if your not going to extremes the system you picked will do you fine accept if your doing it on Vista which then i would upgrade the RAM but other than that your in the clear.

Update on Dehydration in puppies?

I wanted to let all who answered my question that one of the puppies died a few hours after I posted the question. I didn't think he would make it. He was the runt and the dehydration was so bad that his body just shut down. We had named them Buster and Brown. My step son kept calling one of them Baxter and so when Buster ped away we decided to call the other one Baxter. Didn't seem right for him to be Brown without his little brother Buster. Baxter is doing wonderfully. he is eating a little more, drinking more than he eats...lol, and barks and runs and sleeps. He is still dehydrated but is coming out of it. Talked to our vet Baxter goes monday for his first shots. Thank you all for your caring thoughts and ideas I tried most of them. Alot of them did wonders. Again I thank you all so very much.

Can someone diagnose me - worst sore throat ever?

Hi, please help. I am a college student, healthy, but woke up 3 days ago with a sore throat. I ume that was because of drinking the night before, then sleeping with my mouth open without drinking water, causing mucus and pain to build up.. Now to my question... Ever since it has been getting worst, yesterday was the worst day of my life... but today has not been any better.. Some of my symptoms are; sore throat (worst one I have ever had) which is more painful than anything I have ever encountered, including broncitis. I have headaches, my ears hurt, my glands are swollen to the size of golf on both sides of my neck, my whole body aches, from head to toe, turns into extreme pain every so often. I have a fever around 101 F give or take a degree. I get horribly bad chills and sweats. I dont have an appetite, I cant even eat or drink anything. It makes it hurt more when I try to drink water or tea. I can barely swallow my sylavia, which makes me continuely drool it out in the sink during the day or on my pillow when I sleep. I feel like to throw up, but I never do that, and CANT IMAGINE HOW BAD THAT WOULD HURT THE WAY MY THROAT FEELS!!! Also, about 6 hours ago I noticed my uvula had white stuff on it. My uvula is very swollen and has been, but the white stuff is new. The back of my throat has white stuff on it to, with bad mucus that wont come up. My toungue is also whiteish/fuzzy. I have NO cough and NO runny/stuffed nose... Please help diagnose me!! Oh, and I went to my school health center, and they said I was negative on strep throat, and they took two viles of blood but yet to call back with results. I am calling my doctor from my home town tomorrow to ask too. I can barely wait to hear results because this is the worst pain and suffering I have ever undergoed. Whenever I swallow my spit I like hold my throat and close my eyes because the pain is so severe... I have been taking tylenol, am and pm. Ipbrupen 800mg every 4 hours. Nyquil, cough drops, cough syrup, mucinx and I think thats it... Please help, this is the worst sore throat I have ever had. :(

What is the bright side of facing a cold winter?

I live in Minnesota where the weather turns seriously frigid at this time of year. It doesn't get back to a tolerable temp for 5 or 6 mos. Our avg. winter temp is around 20F (-7C). Especially now in the autumn, the sun is scarce. Even when it's sunny in the winter, it's too cold to expose your skin outside. I'm jonesing for some vitamin D! It's depressing and I find it difficult to think positively. Then today 2 things happened that reminded me that there are some good things about temps below freezing: The 1st was on the news. They were interviewing a man in soCal, who had just moved from MN in June. He had to evacuate his home due to the fires & it was destroyed. He said he was so happy to get away from the hles of winter. Then he said: "A blizzard looks pretty good right now." Later, I was putting groceries I had just bought in the trunk of my car & I thought about how I didn't have to worry about the frozen stuff melting on the way home. My whole life Ive had to try and be a completely different person to feel somewhat normal. Other people have shunned who I really am and Ive had to put on a mask to make my life a little more bearable. I feel that society has a gun pointed at my head and that its forcing me to live the way it wants me to live. My parents, the government, my peers, and other various entities make up the single force behind the so called gun. My parents have pushed me into the direction of a career I dont want to be in, but I followed their orders to make them happy as well as to avoid any negative reactions. The government and society have both set forth guidelines I should follow to reach a supposed success, and I completely disagree with these guidelines. My peers have set an image I should maintain in order to become part of this so called favorable group of people, but that certain image isnt who I really am, yet no one will accept the person I wish to be. The few things that I find some solace in are the recreational use of various drugs, listening to music, and fishing. Honestly, if I could do these things for however long I am alive, I would be completely satisfied, yet those forces behind that imaginary gun threaten to fire if I dare to venture into my own comfort zone. Im at complete war with my surroundings, and Ive become paralyzed with fear and discontent. Does anyone out there have any suggestion or guidance? Me and my husband have only been married for a month and a half. We were only together for 3 months prior to getting married.
