Would it be safe to say that being an extremist in any religion is dangerous?

Should Christians slaughter lambs as sacrifice? Should Muslims really blow themselves up? Well I don't think thats the answer that God is looking for but a self sacrifice of Love and abandonment of the things that weigh us down and keep us from ending instead of descending to the depts of what hell really is!
