Slow motion not working on WMM. PLz help!?

I just installed windows movie maker 2.1.to I'm making a video so i went to video effects and added slow down double to the timeline, When I play it though, it does not come out slowly. It comes out in a monster sound! How can I fix it? your answer will be fully rated if it works
