American Express Travelers Check problems?

Traveler checks are a thing of the past. I work in a grocery store and in retail for the last 12 years have to say I only have seen about 3 traveler checks. I also thought they were checks and stated that we did not take checks, until they explained they were travel checks. Had to get a manager that could over ride the system for them. On your next vacation since you don't want to use your own bank card get the pre-purchased visa or mastercards. You can get them almost anywhere now. You do have to pay a fee for them, but it tells you on the back of the card before you purchase them. Keep all your money on them and everyone takes them.
