Is Mountain Biking... Fun?

I LOVE cycling in all forms, but off-road specifically. But nobody can answer whether or not you'll enjoy it. Take up your boyfriends offer and go and find out for yourself. If he's a bit too rough and tumble, then find some girlfriends to try it out with. My girlfriend comes off-road with me often, but I know she enjoys riding with other girls when she can.
