Raccoons are considered "exotic" in some states,and require a license before you are allowed to have one. You might want to read up on raccoons before you decide to get one. Maybe a small dog or cat from your local pound or animal shelter would be better. Not only would you save a life, but you'd have a friend for many years to come.
