How To Make Your Bangs Have Volume?

I have long bangs and all they do is fall flat. They have NO volume whatsoever.I usually always swoop them to the side and I want them to have have a more 'volumized' look. I really don't want to have to go out and buy any hair products. There is a way to make your bangs have volume by just using a blow dryer with a paddle brush after you get out of the shower, but I don't know if it would work with long bangs. I think it might only work with short bangs. But if that technique actually works with long bangs, let me know! If you have any other methods (Without having to use any hair care products) please let me know! Thanks! (:
