What AWD car should I buy that gets mileage in the 20's, costs under $30k, and can comfortably seat 4?

I have a wife and 1 year old twins. We definitely need AWD so please don't suggest otherwise. Also, I like spirited driving. I've considered: the Audi A3, Subaru Outback, Pat Wagon, Volvo V50, RAV4, Tiburon...anything else?
