Why are darker-skinned women, regardless of race are less valued by society?

I believe you are wrong, just the other night I was commenting to my husband how beautiful a dark woman was, as presented by the media (I was quite envious because she was bald, and absolutely stunning, and I am a Swede, my head is so dang lumpy, dented, by genetics etc...that I could never be bald and beautiful)
